First contact... or the start of World War III? Amateur cameraman captures stunning glowing cloud in the skies over Russia
Not so long ago, an enormous fiery cloud in the skies above Russia could only mean one thing: The beginning of something very very bad indeed.
At the height of the Cold War, a vision like this would set off screams of terror and mass panic, rather than the soft gasps of wonder and awe-struck conversation that can be heard in the YouTube clip of this spectacular phenomenon.
But it's not the end of the world, nor is it the beginning of a fine friendship with alien neighbours.
Scroll down for video
Duck and cover: Footage of the towering glowing cloud over an unidentified city in Russia has hit YouTube. It is a brilliantly back-lit version of lenticular cloud, often known as a UFO cloud... for obvious reasons
Footage of the glowing circular formation - which hit YouTube yesterday - is one of the most stunning examples of a 'lenticular cloud'.
For obvious reasons, these rare cloud formations are also known as 'UFO clouds' - because of their spooky resemblance to the space ships we are all expecting to imminently arrive in the skies above us.

Monsanto first unveiled this new variety of GM sweet corn back in August, which rivals Syngenta's GM sweet corn that has already been on the market in limited form for the past ten years, claiming that it would be available to farmers for planting during Fall 2011. Now, the corn appears set to make its debut in Walmart stores across the country as early as Summer 2012, unless massive public outcry is able to convince the multinational retailer to scrap the corn, or at least voluntarily label it.
In a recent campaign alert (http://sumofus.org/campaigns/walmart-monsanto/), Sum Of Us explains that immense consumer pressure has already resulted in commitments from Whole Foods Market, Trader Joe's, and General Mills not to use the new GM corn in any of their products.

Both soda and diet soda are two drinks you won’t want to be anywhere near if you really care about your health. These highly consumed beverages contain massive amounts of sugar and toxic ingredients, leading to a great deal of health complications. Research has found that those who drink soda on a daily basis are increasing their risk of heart attack and stroke.
Diet Soda Increases Risk of Heart Attack and Stroke
Lead researcher Hannah Gardener and her team studied 2,564 adults aged 69 years or older in New York City over the course of 10 years. During the time period, 591 men and women had a heart attack, stroke, or died of cardiovascular causes. Researchers found that diet soda consumption was linked to a 44 percent higher chance of heart attack or stroke, up from the 22 percent non-soda drinkers have.
Research released by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) shows that half of the US population above age 2 consumes sugary drinks like soda daily. Around 5 percent of the population consumes more than 4 12-ounce cans of soda every day.

Global warming ‘could make us shorter’ after horses are found to have shrunk the LAST time the world heated up
Global warming could make us shorter, scientists say.
Palaeontologists studying fossilised horses have found a direct link between the size of mammals and the planet's temperature - with warmer times meaning smaller beasts.
Researchers from the universities of Florida and Nebraska used fossils to follow the evolution of horses from their earliest appearance 56 million years ago.
As temperatures went up their size went down, and vice versa, said Dr Jonathan Bloch, curator of the Florida Museum of Natural History.

PASADENA, Calif. - In the first comprehensive satellite study of its kind, a University of Colorado at Boulder-led team used NASA data to calculate how much Earth's melting land ice is adding to global sea level rise.
Using satellite measurements from the NASA/German Aerospace Center Gravity Recovery and Climate Experiment (GRACE), the researchers measured ice loss in all of Earth's land ice between 2003 and 2010, with particular emphasis on glaciers and ice caps outside of Greenland and Antarctica.
The total global ice mass lost from Greenland, Antarctica and Earth's glaciers and ice caps during the study period was about 4.3 trillion tons (1,000 cubic miles), adding about 0.5 inches (12 millimeters) to global sea level. That's enough ice to cover the United States 1.5 feet (0.5 meters) deep.
"Earth is losing a huge amount of ice to the ocean annually, and these new results will help us answer important questions in terms of both sea rise and how the planet's cold regions are responding to global change," said University of Colorado Boulder physics professor John Wahr, who helped lead the study. "The strength of GRACE is it sees all the mass in the system, even though its resolution is not high enough to allow us to determine separate contributions from each individual glacier."

Recently it has been recognized that high levels of sugar consumption can be the culprit for a number of health defects and issues faced today. Many individuals also agree that the rampant levels of sugar consumption among the populace seem to suggest that there is an issue with individuals maintaining or exercising self control.
Most ‘organic’ sugar is not necessarily bad in the case of produce (as it comes in low doses along with a cocktail of empowering nutrients), though fructose is heavily embedded within the American diet and elsewhere. Many fruits and vegetables often contain small amounts of unprocessed sugar that is acceptable and fair for consumption. Despite this, processed chemical sugar concoctions like high-fructose corn syrup and artificial sweeteners like aspartame are generally the norm and are often more readily available than pure or healthy sweeteners.
Some suggest taking regulatory actions to show and forcibly create a level of discretion against sugar consumption, though this is not the most effective answer on an individual level. While the industry needs to address the dangers of excess sugar consumption (and the presence of mercury in high-fructose corn syrup), change also begins starting with the consumer. It takes education to sway the decisions of consumers away from highly marketed sugary products that are harming their health.
One of the problems is that sugary products and empty carbs are more featured in the food supply than ever before.

The vaccine industry is currently hard at work trying to churn out a vaccine for salmonella, a typically food borne pathogen that thrives on factory farms and in other unsanitary settings. CBS 13 News in Sacramento reports that researchers from the University of California, Davis, have been tasked with developing a vaccine that supposedly prevents salmonella, which these researchers say they are on the verge of completing in the very near future.
Rather than attempt to address the root causes of salmonella, which include filthy animal living conditions on industrial farms and the overuse of synthetic antibiotics in conventional livestock, just to name a few, mainstream science is busy concocting new ways to jab people with toxic chemical cocktails that could permanently injure them.
Funded by a grant from the National Institutes of Health, Stephen McSorley and his team of international researchers believe that by closely studying the immune response to infection in mice, they will be able to arrive at a solid vaccine protocol for "curing" salmonella. And their findings thus far, which were recently published in the journal Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, seem to indicate that the project is moving forward as planned.
The development of this new salmonella vaccine appears to also align directly with the vision of a group of researchers in the U.K. who last summer called for the development of 20 new vaccines in the next decade.

THE ASTOR BLOODLINE
The original founder of the Astor fortune was John Jacob Astor (1763-1884). John Jacob Astor was born in Walldorf, Duchy of Baden (Germany) from a Jewish bloodline. The Jewish origins have been hidden, and quite a number of various ideas of the Astor’s heritage have been put into circulation by the Astors. John Jacob Astor was a butcher in Walldorf. In 1784, he came to America after a stop over in London, England. Although the story is that he came to America penniless–and that may be true–he soon joined the Masonic Lodge, and within 2-3 years had become the Master of the Holland Lodge No. 8 in N.Y. City. (This Holland Lodge is a prominent lodge in that many of its members have good connections to the Illuminati elite.
THE BUNDY BLOODLINE
Most Americans would not recognize the Bundy family as a powerful elite family. However, during recent history two Bundy brothers held the key positions that controlled most of the information that was fed to U.S. Presidents during the Kennedy and Johnson administrations. When Johnson took over after J.F. Kennedy was assassinated McGeorge Bundy was in the key position as Nat. Sec. Advisor to determine what the President did and didn’t hear. His brother was in a key State Dept. position. Both Bundy brothers were also fraternal brothers of the Illuminati Order of the Skull and Bones.

Patrick Anywar, 14, lies curled up naked in the dust and midday heat of a Ugandan village, struggling to look up at his younger brother and sister playing in front of the family home.
After a minute's effort to face his siblings, Anywar's head slumps onto his chest and his emaciated body is gripped by convulsions.
Anywar is one of more than 3,000 children in northern Uganda who are suffering from a debilitating mystery ailment known as nodding disease, which has touched almost every family in the village of Tumangu.
For several years, scientists have tried and failed to determine the cause of the illness, which locals say has killed hundreds of youngsters.
What they do know is that the disease affects only children and gradually devastates its victims through debilitating seizures, stunted growth, wasted limbs, mental disabilities and sometimes starvation.
Anywar's mother, Rugina Abwoyo, has already lost one son, named Watmon, to the disease in 2010. Now she says she can do little but watch on helplessly as another child slips away.

Here’s a wake-up call to anyone trying to solve a tricky problem at work, university or school.
Researchers claim that finding solutions and remembering things is much easier if your mobile phone is on silent, because ringtones – and especially catchy songs – drain your brain power.
Scientists at Washington University in St Louis found that students scored up to 25 per cent less on tests after being exposed to ringing mobile phones.
The worsts results were posted after hearing a song they knew and liked.
‘Many of us consider a mobile phone ringing in a public place to be an annoying disruption, but this study confirms that these nuisance noises also have real-life impacts,’ lead author Jill Shelton said. ‘These seemingly innocuous events are not only a distraction, but they have a real influence on learning.'
The study included an experiment in which Shelton posed as a student seated in the middle of a crowded undergraduate psychology lecture at Louisiana State University and allowed a mobile phone in her handbag to continue ringing loudly for about 30 seconds.
Students exposed to a briefly ringing cell phone scored 25 per cent worse on a test of material presented before the distraction.

Twinkies
When the manufacturer of the classic Twinkie snack cake filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy last week, a little part of America died. Hostess Brands' Twinkies have not only been a mainstay on our supermarket shelves and in our bellies, they've been a staple in our popular culture and, above all, in our hearts. Often criticized for its lack of any nutritional value whatsoever, the Twinkie has managed to persevere as a cultural and gastronomical icon. Harold Ramis' character in Ghostbusters famously used a Twinkie to explain psychokinetic energy, and Woody Harrelson's character in Zombieland willfully tracked down the "spongy, yellow, delicious bastards" throughout the film. An urban legend even claims that Twinkies are so packed with preservatives, they'll last forever. Unfortunately, they don't really have an infinite shelf life, but that doesn't matter, because Hostess says they'll continue selling the Golden Sponge Cake with Creamy Filling despite their recent financial woes. But maybe hide a few somewhere safe, just in case.
Cheese Puffs
There are few experiences more quintessentially American than finding one's fingers covered in sticky orange dust, the inevitable result of a cheesy-puff snack attack. Cheese puffs are a puffed-corn snack that also comes in ball and curl varieties. Most famous are Cheetos, the brand of cheese-flavored munchies with bags and commercials featuring Chester Cheetah, arguably the cheesiest cartoon cat of all time. The popularity of these terrible treats, which traditionally symbolize having no concern for your health, has inspired fictional brands too. There are Cheesy Poofs, a favorite on the scurrilous animated series South Park. And there is Sabor de Soledad, a Mexican off-brand eaten by Liz Lemon on comedy series 30 Rock. (Lemon turns to these when she is upset, which is appropriate since the name translates as Taste of Loneliness.)Moon Pie
From Krystal sliders to Rendezvous ribs, the Deep South is full of culinary traditions. But perhaps the greatest Southern contribution to our gastronomic enjoyment is in the form of the tasty treat: the Moon Pie. Around World War I, marshmallow crème, a New England staple, began being sold in other parts of the country. A couple of years later, coal miners outside of Chattanooga, Tenn., began dipping their graham crackers in the fluff. After selling an ever increasing number of graham crackers to the miners, Earl Mitchell Sr., a salesman for Chattanooga Bakery, decided to combine the two ingredients into a pie. He layered graham crackers with the marshmallow fluff and the name was born when his grandson commented that the indentations where bubbles had popped looked like the moon. Today, the pies come in chocolate, vanilla and banana, and are such a Southern staple that since 2008, Mobile, Ala., has dropped a 12-ft. mechanical moon pie to ring in the New Year.

The Maya created the most sophisticated calendar systems in the ancient world, and according to many scholars their Long Count Calendar will come to an end on December 21, 2012. What does this mean for mankind? Some researchers believe it will usher in the return of Bolon Yokte--a mysterious god associated with creation and war.
Could this god actually be an extraterrestrial as some ancient astronaut theorists believe? Other scholars believe the end of the calendar will bring about a series of catastrophic events that may threaten the very existence of mankind.
They point to a rare galactic alignment that will coincide with the end of the Mayan calendar as proof of an impending geological catastrophe. If these doomsday prophecies prove to be true, will it mean the end of the world as we know it? Or could it reveal some profound truth about the origins of the human race?

In 2010 the FBI invaded the homes of peace activists in several states and seized personal possessions in what the FBI–the lead orchestrator of fake “terrorist plots”–called an investigation of “activities concerning the material support of terrorism.”
Subpoenas were issued to compel antiwar protestors to testify before grand juries as prosecutors set about building their case that opposing Washington’s wars of aggression constitutes giving aid and comfort to terrorists. The purpose of the raids and grand jury subpoenas was to chill the anti-war movement into inaction.
Last week in one fell swoop the last two remaining critics of Washington/Tel Aviv imperialism were removed from the mainstream media. Judge Napolitano’s popular program, Freedom Watch, was cancelled by Fox TV, and Pat Buchanan was fired by MSNBC. Both pundits had wide followings and were appreciated for speaking frankly.
Many suspect that the Israel Lobby used its clout with TV advertisers to silence critics of the Israeli government’s efforts to lead Washington to war with Iran. Regardless, the point before us is that the voice of the mainstream media is now uniform. Americans hear one voice, one message, and the message is propaganda.

Mercury found in dental amalgam fillings has been an issue within the dental community and beyond for many years. These fillings, used since the American Civil War, contain an estimated 50 percent mercury. Whenever friction meets these fillings, toxic mercury gases are emitted. This means that with each chew and dental drill comes an emission of mercury gases, leading to numerous health problems. While nearly half of dentists have stopped using amalgam fillings due to health dangers, the Food and Drug Administration has yet to act on these issues.
FDA Ignoring Own Scientists Warnings on Amalgam Fillings
In December 2010, the Food and Drug Administration convened its second scientific advisory panel on dental amalgams. Scientists yet again told the FDA that amalgam use in children, pregnant women, and hypersensitive adults must come to a halt. The toxic vapors emitted are harmful to everyone, but these groups of individuals especially suffer.
According to Campaign for Mercury Free Dentistry:
Dr. Kotagal said there is “no place for mercury in children,” Dr. Ismail said “children less than 6 years of age, I would restrict it significantly,” Dr. Thompson said “definitely not in pregnant women and definitely not in those below 6 years of age,”

The Pill Establishment has run out of patience with people who are given prescription drugs and don't do a good enough job of taking their pills as they are told. Last year, USA Today reported that:
Americans may waste as much as $258 billion a year by not taking prescribed medications because the missed doses lead to emergency room visits, doctors' visits and in-patient hospitalizations, according to a study by Express Scripts, an independent prescription- filling company. If you read that right, yes, the study was performed by a a prescription-filling company, or as we refer to them in the healthcare industry, a Pharmacy Benefits Manager. I'm sure the results of the study couldn't possibly be skewed toward desired results! Of course, these companies never look at the costs of loss productivity, in-patient hospitalizations, benefit payouts, missed work, hospital/emergency costs from overdoses, etc., due to the fact that Americans are mainlining Big Pharma's profitable and "legal" drugs. The costs always seem to appear under the column heading, "Costs of not taking drugs." Here's another quote from the USA Today story, and note carefully who says what:
..."Drugs don't work if you don't take them, and people often don't take them the way they're supposed to," said Bob Nease, chief scientist at Express Scripts.
People don't take their medications because they forget to refill their prescriptions, forget to take them, feel they don't need them or find them too expensive, said Edith Rosato, senior vice president of pharmacy affairs for the National Association of Chain Drug Stores.

Pretreatment with intravenous vitamin C and other oral antioxidants has been demonstrated once again to provide significant protection against radiation poisoning and cancer. Dr. Atsuo Yanagisawa, M.D., Ph.D., from the Japanese College of IV Therapy recently conducted a study which found that Fukushima workers who underwent a high-dose vitamin C pretreatment prior to handling radioactive debris during cleanup efforts were protected against DNA damage and cancer.
The Orthomolecular Medicine News Service (OMNS) reports that Dr. Yanagisawa evaluated 16 men between the ages of 32 and 59 that worked between five and six weeks in a high-radiation area of Fukushima. Some of the men received 25,000 milligrams (mg) of intravenous vitamin C therapy along with oral intake of other powerful antioxidants like alpha-lipoic acid and vitamin E prior to entering the contaminated area, while the others received no pretreatment at all.
After taking blood samples from all the men and evaluating them for whole blood count and chemistry, as well as for plasma levels of free DNA and 47 cancer-related gene expressions, Dr. Yanagisawa and his team found that those who received the vitamin C therapy experienced no increase in cancer risk or change in free DNA. Those who did not receive the treatment, on the other hand, had significantly increased cancer risk.
Those who did not receive pretreatment, but that received a post-treatment intervention with the same regimen for two months, however, saw their heightened free DNA levels return to normal.

'Cancer-causing' chemical used in plastics and food containers can also lead to obesity and diabetes, says study
Fast food and a sedentary lifestyle is often blamed for the modern-day rise in obesity... but another more common and hidden cause has been uncovered.
A chemical widely used in plastics and food-can lining - which has been linked to cancer and labelled a toxic substance in Canada - has now been linked to weight gain and diabetes.
Researchers showed that only small doses of the chemical can trigger a reaction in the body that scrambles hormone signals.
Hidden danger: The effects of bisphenol A (BPA), a common chemical in plastic bottles and food-can lining, have been revealed in a new study into obesity
A report published last week in PLoS ONE shows that the chemical bisphenol A (BPA) - used in everything from fertilisers to plastic water bottles - can 'fool' the body into creating more fat.
Furthermore, it can lead to the incdreased production of insulin, the body's way to regulate fat and carbohydrates.

Antibiotics are not only breeding illness among the population, but are also so vastly overprescribed that it is costing the United Kingdom’s National Health Service (NHS) the equivalent of over 10 and a half million dollars per year. According to new research, doctors are dishing out more than 1.6 million unnecessary antibiotic prescriptions for common ailments such as sinusitis and acute coughs. The result: an unnecessary and massive financial hit.
Conducted by researchers from Cardiff University and led by Professor Chris Butler, the two-year study worked with 68 GP practices in Wales. Finding that antibiotics were needlessly given to patients without effect, doctors were provided data that could limit the massive prescription count. Given data regarding antibiotic prescribing methods and resistance data, the researchers concluded that even a 5.5% reduction in antibiotic prescribing could save over $1,000 per individual practice — and cut over 2 million dollars per year in worthless antibiotic prescriptions.
Widespread Prescriptions, Massive Adverse Reaction
The high volume of antibiotic prescriptions — deemed needless or not — are heavily contributing to the illnesses many individuals are facing on a daily basis. This has to do with how antibiotics impact not only the ‘bad’ bacteria that could be making you sick, but also the ‘good’ bacteria that actually prevent illness and maintain gut health.

Most of us have suffered from a broken heart at some point in our lives. Is it just an emotional expression of love gone wrong…or is a broken heart a bonafide medical condition?
Loyola University Health System cardiologist Dr. Binh An P. Phan says that broken heart syndrome is a very real medical condition. It occurs during highly stressful or emotional periods like a broken romance, death of a loved one, loss of a job, or intense anger.
The medical term for it is “stress cardiomyopathy.” Symptoms are very similar to the symptoms of a heart attack and include chest pain and breathing difficulty. During highly stressful events, adrenalin and other stress hormones can surge and overwhelm the heart, causing narrowing of the arteries that supply blood to the heart.
Fortunately, broken heart syndrome usually goes away over time, leaving no lasting damage to the heart.
“Most people will get better in a few weeks without medical treatment,” said Phan in a press release.
Because the symptoms of broken heart syndrome and heart attack are so similar, people with heart attack symptoms should call 9-1-1 rather than assume anything, advises Phan, who is director of Loyola’s new Preventive Cardiology and Lipid Program.

Movie night around our house is a very big deal. Its a big deal because its the only television that my stepdaughters, Serena (eight years old), and Ari (six years old), are allowed to watch. It becomes an event rather than an every day happening. Makes it even more special. My wife, Jesseca is very adamant about this and I totally agree with her. Even we watch very little television, on average about two nights a week for an hour each.
So what’s the big deal about children watching television? After all, its a great babysitter, frees the parents up to do other things, and keeps the children pacified for a few hours. Parents and children can even share some programming. And after all, most of us were brought up watching a few hours of television every day, and look how we turned out. (Well, that last point may not be the strongest argument, but you get the picture).
The television has become so central to our way of life that for some , its inconceivable to limit the amount of time spent in front of this electronic eye. There are so many choices as to what to watch and as streaming video becomes more available you can even watch all sorts of programs via your computer.

"...it would be far more preferable if the United States could cite an Iranian provocation as justification for the airstrikes before launching them. Clearly, the more outrageous, the more deadly, and the more unprovoked the Iranian action, the better off the United States would be. Of course, it would be very difficult for the United States to goad Iran into such a provocation without the rest of the world recognizing this game, which would then undermine it. (One method that would have some possibility of success would be to ratchet up covert regime change efforts in the hope that Tehran would retaliate overtly, or even semi-overtly, which could then be portrayed as an unprovoked act of Iranian aggression.) " -- US foreign policy makers in the Fortune 500 funded Brookings Institution's 2009 "Which Path to Persia?" report, pages 84-85.
"U.S. officials said they have seen no intelligence to indicate that Iran is actively plotting attacks on U.S. soil. But Director of National Intelligence James R. Clapper Jr. said the thwarted plot “shows that some Iranian officials — probably including Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei — have changed their calculus and are now more willing to conduct an attack in the United States in response to real or perceived U.S. actions that threaten the regime.
"We predict that the threat on our sites around the world will increase … on both our guarded sites and ‘soft’ sites,” read the memo, with soft sites interpreted to mean potential targets such as synagogues and other Jewish community buildings. The letter was circulated by the head of security for Israel’s Consul General for the Mid-Atlantic States, ABC News said. --"‘Soft’ Target Threat Gets Community’s Attention," The Jewish Week, February 7, 2012
Quite clearly, there is a premeditated conspiracy working ceaselessly to provoke Iran into a war it neither wants nor will benefit from in any conceivable way, and upon failing to provoke Iran, provocations will be manufactured in their stead, as seen in the recently botched "plot to assassinate a Saudi ambassador on US soil," later revealed to be a US sting operation involving DEA agents and a duped, entrapped patsy.

A report by the Florida Medical Examiners Commission has concluded that prescription drugs have outstripped illegal drugs as a cause of death.
An analysis of 168,900 autopsies conducted in Florida in 2007 found that three times as many people were killed by legal drugs as by cocaine, heroin and all methamphetamines put together. According to state law enforcement officials, this is a sign of a burgeoning prescription drug abuse problem.
"The abuse has reached epidemic proportions," said Lisa McElhaney, a sergeant in the pharmaceutical drug diversion unit of the Broward County Sheriff's Office. "It's just explosive."
In 2007, cocaine was responsible for 843 deaths, heroin for 121, methamphetamines for 25 and marijuana for zero, for a total of 989 deaths. In contrast, 2,328 people were killed by opioid painkillers, including Vicodin and Oxycontin, and 743 were killed by drugs containing benzodiazepine, including the depressants Valium and Xanax.

The approval of genetically modified salmon has been a controversial issue for quite some time now, and the heat surrounding the altered fish isn’t dying down. Recently three United States consumer groups petitioned the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to enforce a more strict and rigorous review process for the genetically modified fish than is currently in place. The FDA needs to realize that many people simply do not want to knowingly consume this toxic creation.
Consumer Groups Call for Genetically Modified Salmon to be Classified as ‘Food Additive’
A new genetically modified animal hybrid known as genetically modified salmon ignited great concern in September of 2010 due to its threat to human health and the environment. While consumer groups and activists have (and still are) attempting to at the very least require labeling of the frankenfish, government agencies such as the United States Department of Agriculture have been pushing for its approval. The FDA currently classifies the genetically altered salmon to be a new animal drug for the approval process, but the new petition put forth by some consumer groups calls for the fish to be classified as a food additive instead – causing it to go through a much more rigorous process of FDA review and approval.
Consumer groups Food & Water Watch, Consumers Union, and the Center for Food Safety state in their petition that the genetic engineering process drastically alters the composition as well as nutritional value, causing the fish to be a food additive.

The stated mission of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is to protect and promote public health through the regulation of everything from food products to pharmaceutical drugs. Based on the agency’s actions (or perhaps their severe lack of real action) however, it is quite apparent that this government organization has a blatant disregard for your health and is most certainly not in the business of ‘promoting’ health. Here are 4 ways in which the FDA has gone against public health and safety.
1. FDA Sits Back as You Consume Mercury in Your Food
The FDA, despite having full access to the studies that were heavily publicized even on mainstream media websites, apparently feels that carcinogenic mercury tainting the food supply is nothing to worry about. Found to be present in over a third of 55 popular brand-name food and beverage products, research has shown that you are most likely consuming mercury if you consume processed food items or many beverage products. High-fructose corn syrup is a main carrier of the harmful element, which is especially concerning when you consider the fact that the average American consumed 37.8 pounds of high-fructose corn syrup in 2008!
Despite experts speaking out and calling on the FDA to come to the aid of the public, the FDA still does nothing.
“Mercury is toxic in all its forms. Given how much high-fructose corn syrup is consumed by children, it could be a significant additional source of mercury never before considered. We are calling for immediate changes by industry and the [U.S. Food and Drug Administration]

With the announcement that 30,000 drones are expected to fill American skies within ten years, the U.S. government has officially declared war on the American people, turning to technology normally used to hunt down insurgents abroad as the whole arsenal of the war on terror is re-focused domestically.
“The Federation Aviation Administration said up to 30,000 drones could be in airspace shared with airliners carrying passengers,” reports UPI.
Once signed by president Obama, the FAA Reauthorization Act allows for the FAA to permit the use of drones and develop regulations for testing and licensing by 2015.
US law enforcement bodies are already using drone technology to spy on Americans. In December, a Predator B drone was called in to conduct surveillance over a family farm in North Dakota as part of a SWAT raid on the Brossart family,

It could be lurking in the foods you eat every single day, including U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) certified organic foods, and you would never even know it. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has declared that one of Monsanto's latest creations, a synthetic sweetener chemical known as neotame, does not have to be labeled in food products, including even in organic food products.
A modified version of aspartame with even more added toxicity, neotame received quiet and unassuming FDA approval back in 2002, even though no safety studies have ever been conducted on the chemical (http://www.neotame.com/pdf/neotame_fda_US.pdf). In fact, an investigation conducted by Feingold.org found only four studies relating to neotame in the MEDLINE database.
Two of these "studies" were not studies at all, and the other two were actually one duplicate study conducted by NutraSweet, the company that produces and sells neotame.

Fluoridated tap water and toothpaste are oftentimes considered the main sources of fluoride exposure, but it turns out that common food items could actually be largely contributing to your fluoride intake. According to fluoride expert Jeff Green, who has been actively protesting and studying the effects of fluoride on the body for other 15 years, one common food product contains up to 180 times more fluoride than your fluoridated tap water!
According to Green, the culprit is non-organic food, but not just one kind. If you’re still eating conventionally-farmed food products, you may be unknowingly exposing yourself to extreme levels of fluoride. Green says this is made possible by fluoride going incognito within the food supply in a very concerning way:
Fluoride-Based Pesticide Contaminating Food Staples
While Green states that a large number of non-organic produce items can contain shocking levels of this fluoride-based pesticide,

Finally mainstream media is forced to start talking about the pole shift. I recommend people to do their own research on this phenomenon.
Start with smart people, like Immanuel Velikovsky and Albert Einstein they both had much to say on this topic and they warned us to prepare for pole shift.
The earth is a magnet, the sun is a magnet and right now our binary twin (an older magnet) is about to appear in the solar system and it is retrograde to our sun. The ancients from every corner of the world foretold of this cycle as written in “Worlds in Collision” 1950 LINK
The earth has been shaking at every fault for awhile now, so the plates are greased and ready to move. LINK
Many people are looking for Planet X /Nibiru on its 3700 year orbit and waiting for it to rise above the ecliptic plane. The recent finds in Siberia of flash frozen wooly mammoths with tropical vegetation in their stomachs undigested, shows how quick they were frozen. When the poles shift it will be sudden and they will shift to the equator and the ice will melt really quick raising the oceans by 800 feet .

Scientists have known about orbital perturbations on the outer planets for some time now. They are starting to assume an unknown stellar size mass is near enough to this solar system to cause a directional orbital tug. This is what is heating our sun and all the other planets in this system. It is the root cause of climate change for sure. The politicians and media have been trying to convince us that we are solely to blame for this heating period.

Knowledge Of Life, Metaphysics, Exposing The Evil Elite Snakes Who Rob The Poor And Their Resources....
"Most Americans have no real understanding of the operation of the international money lenders. The accounts of the currupt Federal Reserve Bank System have never been audited. It operates outside the control of Congress and manipulates the credit of the United States" — Sen. Barry Goldwater (Rep. AR)
"I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. Already they have raised up a monied aristocracy that has set the government at defiance. The issuing power (of money) should be taken away from the banks and restored to the people to whom it properly belongs." — Thomas Jefferson, U.S. President.

Here is his call on how the “IRAN WAR” will go down.
The war began as planned. The Israeli pilots took off well before dawn and streaked across Lebanon and northern Iraq, high above Kirkuk. Flying U.S.-made F-15 and F-16s, the Israelis separated over the mountains of western Iran, the pilots gesturing a last minute show of confidence in their mission, maintaining radio silence.Just before the sun rose over Tehran, moments before the Muslim call to prayer, the missiles struck their targets.

Why do our efforts as humans beings to affirm our quality-of-life seem to have been frustrated? If you asked yourself, your friends, neighbours, family members and others, you might find out some basic generalities. As humans, we prefer peace to war. We prefer to have our rights protected, rather than subverted. We tend to prefer to have our environment protected rather than destroyed. We tend to also prefer a caring society rather than to have a “survival of the fittest society” in which people who are not financially successful, are basically left to rot.
As humans, we tend to embrace concern for the welfare of others and other species, from our pets, to wildlife. We also value “material comforts” but not to the point that it sacrifices our fundamental concerns for our quality-of-survival. Yet, as human beings, we seem to be also “governed” by values which our alien to our sensibilities.

Could your wallet be a toxic dump, filled with cancer-causing chemicals that leech into the skin? Unless your wallet is empty, then the answer is yes. According to a new study entitled On The Money: BPA on Dollar Bills and Receipts, the hormone-disrupting chemical Bisphenol A (BPA) has been found on 95% of United States dollar bills.
BPA is a hormone-disrupting chemical used in the manufacturing of plastic baby bottles and in the linings of food and beverage cans. BPA has been shown to mimic the hormone estrogen, producing inconsistent levels of hormones that eventually turn masculine men into feminine boys.
While BPA is knowingly used in the manufacturing of certain products including dental fillings, glass jars, and even 40% of cash receipts, never before were such high levels of BPA detected on U.S. currency. Unlike baby bottles or food cans, dollars are circulated worldwide, and often change hands countless times over a short period of time. Due to this high degree of circulation, thousands of people will handle the same BPA-tainted dollar.

Even small amounts of exposure to many chemicals can result in drastic negative health consequences – bisphenol-A (BPA) is no exception.
Found in many household goods such as plastic and some food items, BPA acts as an endocrine-disrupting chemical that mimics hormones in the body.
Due to the incredible negative effects BPA possesses, and given its prominent place in today’s society, scientist Frederick vom Saal thinks that this chemical should be banned completely.
Saal successfully generated dozens of scientific papers shedding light on the many negative effects of bisphenol-A, but now he is trying to persuade United States authorities to heavily regulate the use of the chemical.
Saal isn’t the only scientist looking to regulate the chemical, however. In September of 2011, a group of 20 scientists (of which Saal was a part) met to discuss why the Food and Drug Administration would ever allow such a harmful chemical in so many consumer products. While the research produced by many scientists was enough to persuade 11 states, Canada, China, and the European Union to restrict the allowance of endocrine-disrupting chemicals, it seems that U.S. government agencies aren’t so easy to convince.

After three years, Google Earth map has finally been updated to remove a gridlike pattern which sparked rumors that the underwater city of Atlantis had been found.
The exciting 'non-discovery' was made in 2009 when eagle-eyed internet users spotted a large grid on the seafloor that looked strikingly like the fabled city. Google was quick to explain that the misrepresentation was caused by overlapping datasets, and Atlantis had not been found, but the map remained - until now.
This week, Google announced that to mark the third anniversary of Google Earth, it had released a major update that promises to give users a 'clearer view' of Earth’s subterranean landscape.

Could Spider-Man become a reality? Bizarre white cobweb found on nuclear waste that could have come from a 'mutant' spider
Scientists are investigating a bizarre white cobweb found on nuclear waste - amid fears it could have been made by a 'mutant' spider.
In a freakish echo of the Spider-Man comic strip, workers at a U.S nuclear waste facility discovered the growth on uranium last month.
The white 'string-like' material - never seen before on nuclear waste - was found among thousands of spent fuel assemblies submerged in deep pools.
Experts from Savannah River National Laboratory collected a small sample of the mystery material to run tests.

Widespread Protests Are Starting to Turn the Tide Against Anti-Democratic Bill
The widespread protests against the anti-democracy bill ACTA by the Polish people have forced Poland’s prime minister to stall – or perhaps even back out – of the treaty. As TechDirt notes:
Following the growing protests about ACTA in Europe, as well as signs of US meddling, Poland’s prime minister is making it clear that Poland will not ratify ACTA for the time being, leading to speculation that the EU may not actually join ACTA.
Tusk’s backtracking could spell the end of ACTA for the entire European Union. If Poland or any other EU member state, or the European Parliament itself, fails to ratify the document, it becomes null and void across the union. As it stands, there are already five member countries that have not even signed ACTA.
“I share the opinions of those who from the beginning said that consultations were not complete,” Tusk said, according to a report in Wirtualna Polska. The 54-year-old prime minister added that a Polish rejection of ACTA is now on the table, and admitted that he had previously approached the agreement from a “20th century” perspective, due to his age.
The Slovenian ambassador to Japan has apologized to her country and her children for signing ACTA, saying she signed it because her government told her to, and “out of civic carelessness” in not bothering to understand what ACTA meant before signing it.
Bulgarian and Polish MPs wore Guy Fawkes masks to protest ACTA. Again, from TechDirt:
We recently pointed out that a bunch of Polish politicians wore Guy Fawkes/Anonymous masks in Parliament to protest ACTA:
Indeed, even the elderly are wearing Guy Fawkes masks in protest of ACTA:
