Human activities always cause permanent changes to ecosystems
Firstly, people do not know how they destroy Earth by extensive farming. To obtain more food farmers modified the land in different ways. The introduced changes are not only at local but also at global scales. They include the deforestation, pollution of water, soil and air, hydrological charges biodiversity. The consequences are disastrous. Among they are: biodiversity loss, which resulted in plant and animal species extinction. The deforestation impacted the natural habitats of animals. Using chemicals can lead to pollution of water, soil or air which are catastrophic to all living organisms.
Climate changes are caused by releasing greenhouse gases into the atmosphere, by this leading to global warming. The higher temperatures on Earth lead to the serious disturbance of vegetation changes in the Earth’s surface. Among the innocent consequences are: higher level of seas which has lead to floods or destruction of animal habitats. It is estimated that in a very period of time most of land will be covered by water and the ones of species will be on verge of extinction.
Most of human activities cause pollution. Releasing chemicals into environment may cause variety of changes in the ecosystem. Pollutants usually damage the environment or in some cases destroy it. The industry, farming are main factors which cause pollution. Because its consequences such as diseases, species extinction or global warming are more common in nowadays, world pollution has become pressing issue in XXI century. Serious charges have been introduced for example: nuclear testing, deforestation, release specific chemicals were banned. What is more, public has been informed about the risk of pollution and damaged it may cause to ecosystem.
To sum up, some charges in ecosystem cannot be reversed. Although human activities caused much damage to the ecosystem, there is still a great chance to reverse at least some of them. I personally believe, that if we do something quickly to stop the disastrous activities, the next species which will be on the brink of extinction is Homo Sapiens.
